VidWords for creators · free
Let your audience search everything you have ever said
One page for your channel where viewers search every video by what was said, jump to the exact second, and ask questions answered with quotes from you. You link it from your channel; we keep it up to date.
How it works
- Paste your channel. We give you a short code.
- Put the code in your channel description. That proves the channel is yours. You can remove it once your page is live.
- Share your page. We make your latest 500 videos searchable from their captions, usually within the hour, at vidwords.com/c/your-channel.
What your viewers get
- Search by what you said, not by a title: every result opens the video at that moment.
- Answers in your words. A viewer asks a question and gets an answer drawn only from your videos, with a timestamped quote for every claim.
- Every language your captions are in, including Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Hindi.

Questions
What does it cost?
Nothing. The page and its search are free for you and your viewers. Asking a question needs a free VidWords account.
Why do you need a code in my description?
Only the channel's owner can create its page. The code is how we know that is you, and it can come out again once the page is live.
Which videos are included?
Your latest 500 videos that have captions, from YouTube's own or your uploaded captions. Refresh the page from here to add new uploads.
Can I take the page down?
Yes, at any time, from this page. Hiding it takes it offline immediately; deleting it removes its index too.
